Account Executive, Sales

POSITION ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for selling HIPAA Compliance software and related professional services to hospitals, clinics, doctors’ offices, healthcare professionals and business associates (e.g. vendors who service the healthcare industry and exchange electronic Protected Health Information).

Working under the guidance of HIPAA One leadership, your role will include:

  • B2B Sales/Networking Partnership management which includes, but not limited to:
    • Constant improvement and evolution of our partnership program
    • Collaborate with HIPAA One  Sales and provide partner support as needed
  • Base salary plus commission (benefits package includes health, dental and IRA benefits)
  • Maintaining contact with clients
  • Conducts web-conference meetings for existing and prospective customers, includes cold-calling and following up on leads
    • Effectively applies industry knowledge to enhance the sales efforts related to the company’s HIPAA compliance and data security programs
    • Participates in trade shows, conference calls, webinars, and conventions, as required
    • Develops clear and effective written proposal for prospective customers
    • Participates in short and long term planning
    • Monitor competitors’ products and services and provides new information to senior staff to help the company stay competitive
  • Assist on marketing projects as needed
  • Coordinate all issues with key clients between sales, service, support, customer services, marketing and finance
  • Provide clients with timeline for service delivery
  • Stay abreast of current happenings in the healthcare compliance and IT community

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent certification is preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • Healthcare or HIPAA experience in a sales-related role is required
  • Experience in sales for SaaS, healthcare, or professional IT services
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Must be analytical and detailed oriented
  • Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated effectiveness with consensus building, policy development and verbal and written communication skills
  • A high level of integrity and trust
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, state and federal guidelines on privacy, transactions and security
  • Socially intelligent and possess an ability to close business
  • Previous experience with Salesforce CRM

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Responsible for the management of self and compliance personnel

  • Prioritizes and assigns tasks. Reviews work performed. Challenges staff to better themselves and advance the level of service provided.
  • Provides meaningful feedback to staff on an on-going basis and formally appraises performance annually.

Responsible for promoting open lines of communications within organization

  • Collaborates with other team members as needed or directed.
  • Makes recommendations for the improvement of operational and procedural changes.

Responsible for performing other duties assigned but not limited to the following

  • Current duties as outlined in current position job description.
  • Special projects as assigned.
  • Makes suggestions for Sales/Marketing campaigns and assists in bringing them to fruition.
