Steven Marco – President and Founder
Steven Marco, President of HIPAA One and Modern Compliance Solutions, has a passion for IS Security and over 18 years as a leader in executing various regulatory compliance mandates and Health IT. A CISA since 1999, he helped pioneer Internet Security Services and manage risk for numerous Fortune 500 companies while at Deloitte & Touche. At Resources Global Professionals, he led IT through their Sarbanes Oxley 404 audit and successful IPO in 2002. He successfully pioneered a Health IT professional services line leading hundreds of compliance and security projects. Prior to founding Modern Compliance Solutions, Steve was Product Director at DirectPointe, where he successfully integrated HIPAA and PCI security protocols for their Healthcare and MAS clients. Steve holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Ryerson University in Computer Information Systems Management and Corporate Law.
Bobby Seegmiller – VP, Business Development
Bobby Seegmiller is a Senior SaaS Sales Executive with 15+ years of business experience selling enterprise solutions and developing business partnerships. He currently serves as Senior VP of Business Development at Modern Compliance Solutions, where he oversees business development, sales strategy, implementation and growth of HIPAA One®. Prior to joining Modern Compliance Solutions, Bobby served as a SaaS E-sign Solution Consultant for several Fortune 50 customers by automating work flow and incorporating electronic signatures to increase sales and reduce risk. Hobbies include a passion for all things outdoors. Family, hiking, backpacking, motorcycling, skiing, fishing, Disneyland, high-adventure and travel to exciting places helps to maintain a great work/life balance.
Elisa Hill – Account Executive
Elisa Hill has 7+ years of business development experience including 2+ years of HIPAA expertise. She currently serves as an Account Executive at HIPAA One® where she assists potential and existing customers with identifying their needs, then leads them through the sales process so as to match HIPAA One® solutions and services appropriately to those needs. She is passionate about assisting healthcare organizations and their business associates in becoming and staying HIPAA compliant. Elisa attended the University of North Dakota where she studied Business Management. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband. They love traveling and trying new restaurants, as well as hiking and playing with their black lab.
Tracy Ziskovsky – Marketing Manager
Tracy Ziskovsky brings over 9 years healthcare marketing and account management experience to the HIPAA One® team where she currently serves as Marketing Manager. A seasoned healthcare professional, she is responsible for driving marketing projects, building brand awareness and coordinating partner marketing efforts. Tracy is passionate about promoting the importance of defending and safeguarding sensitive data. Tracy attended Central Michigan University where she studied Public Relations and Broadcast Journalism. When she is not working, she can be found enjoying outdoor activities with her husband and two young daughters.
Becky Robison – Administrative Account Manager
Becky Robison brings over 20 years healthcare business management experience to HIPAA One in her role as Administrative Account Manager. An accomplished account manager, her diverse healthcare background includes positions in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and home health care. Aside from her previous healthcare positions, Becky was also a part owner and business manager in a shipping business and is a licensed health and life insurance agent. Becky attended the University of Utah and graduated from California Coast University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Becky loves to read, travel, and appreciates beautiful landscapes and architecture. She is an advocate for the elderly and underprivileged children and was a foster parent for several years.
Kent Norton – SVP, Professional Services
Kent Norton has over 15 years of experience in IT as a Systems Analyst Auditor, Information Systems Manager, and Network Engineer. He is passionate about Health Care working with all levels of Hospitals and Clinics, and has the ability to effectively communicate between executive management and technical staff. He is proficient in gathering, researching, and presenting HIPAA security audit information used to develop HIPAA security strategies, policies and procedures, solution options and remediation planning. Kent holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Utah Valley University in Accounting and End-User Support. He also holds a Master’s Degree from University of Phoenix in Business Administration and Technology Management.
John Lazo has joined the HIPAA One team as Vice President of Data Security. John’s impressive career spans over 20 years in information technology. During that time, John pursued many industry certifications including CISO, CEH, CSA, CHP and CSCS. At his core, John is a process and service oriented systems Security Engineer with a passion for protecting sensitive client data. Some of his previous positions have included Senior IT Consultant and IT Manager for Arches Health Plan, PAYjr, GE Capital and First Security Bank. John has a proven record of success designing, installing, configuring, troubleshooting, administering and securing LAN/WAN infrastructures with experience on Cisco, Microsoft, Citrix, and VMware. Currently, he serves as a member of multiple technology boards for nonprofit organizations and is an advocate for local business communities. When not working, John spends his time traveling or planning his next great escape. Additionally he enjoys good food and running.
Paul Mugleston – Info Security Consultant
Paul Mugleston, HCISPP, has over 11 years of experience in Information Technology and Security Expertise. Prior to joining Modern Compliance Solutions, Paul led security awareness, HIPAA, and PCI training to management, IT staff, and employees regarding HIPAA requirements and compliance. As a result of his organizational and management abilities, he was responsible for managing SAS70 audit and internal and external audits for healthcare divisions to ensure Corporate IT security standards. Paul has the ability to effectively communicate and maintain a high level of customer support. He enjoys helping technical and non-technical individuals find success in information technology. Paul holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from Brigham Young University–Hawaii.
Cortney Morgan – HIPAA Auditor
Cortney Morgan has over 18 years of experience in the healthcare field as an Registered Nurse specializing in outpatient surgery procedures and phlebotomy. She is passionate about all sides of healthcare including over 2 years as a HIPAA Compliance Officer for a flourishing Medical Billing organization. Cortney has her Health Care Administration Diploma from the University of Phoenix, and is completing a Psychology Degree at Utah Valley University. Cortney is passionate about being a HIPAA Auditor specializing in Privacy and Breach Notification regulations and helping clients stay HIPAA compliant.
Warren Owens – Board Advisor
Warren is Chairman, CEO and President of ContractPal. He began his career working with graphite composites in the aerospace industry primarily the Space Shuttle program. Thereafter, Owens shifted focus from physical sciences to computer science to provide modeling, simulation and solutions in combustion sciences (reaction kinetics, health-care ventilation circuit fluid flow, blood filtration, financial expert systems). Owens secured 5 US patents, started and sold 3 successful businesses along the way. He served on numerous national advisory boards including the National Coalition for Healthcare Standards 2002 – 2003 and the National Scientific Advisory Board for Cement Kiln Recycling 1991 – 1994. Owens holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah and was an active member of Pi Tau Sigma from 1989 to 1994. Owens has over 20 refereed Journal Articles, Symposia and Book Chapters.
